Dr. Schwartz graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry Cum Laude in 1974. He first located in Sterling Heights in 1980 and moved the practice to it's present location in January of 2000. He is a past President of the Oakland County Society of Optometrists, past Secretary-Treasurer of the Metropolitain Detroit Optometric Society, and a past member of the ethics committee of the Michigan Optometric Association. Dr. Schwartz has lectured on vision and eye disease for many years in various educational venues. He is married and has one son (see below).
Scott F. Schwartz O.D.
Dr. Schwartz followed in his father's footsteps and graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry, Magna Cum Laude. He performed internships at the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration in Sierra Vista Arizona, Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in Beverly Hills California, and with the Indian Health Service at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacatan Arizona.
These internships concentrated in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. He also worked heavily in contact lens fitting, including specialty fits for orthokeratology, kerataconus and pelucid marginal degeneration.
Nicole P. Koski O.D.
Dr. Nicole Polidori Koski graduated from Michigan State University in Biological Sciences in 1993 and The Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1997. After graduation, she was fortunate to begin practicing at the nationally renowned Fukai and Associates, P.C. in Louisville, Colorado. Dr. Koski gained tremendous experience in pre/post-operative surgical care, specialty contact lens fits, pediatric care and lasik/PRK co-management. In2003, Dr. Koski relocated back home to Michigan and has enjoyed her work and her patients with Dr. Schwartz and Associates.
Outside of work, Dr. Koski and her husband enjoy their time with their three young children, Luke, Mark and Lauren. She enjoys running, exercise, traveling, photography and reading.
